Some of you might know that I spent some time teaching abroad in the wonderful country of Georgia. I waited to post anything about this because I wasn’t sure, I’m still not sure how I feel about this. I’m thrilled to see the democratic process respected and as peaceful as possible result. However, I don’t think Mr Ivanishvili will continue to take the country in a positive direction (I guess with my bias that means pro-west). The “majority” of people have spoken. I shall continue to hope that all my dear friends there have increased opportunities and freedoms.
